Success is measured by How effortlessly we co-create with the universe. Our ego is what we think of ourselves but our spirit is beyond our comprehension, it is limitless. The self is of pure potentiality and infinite creativity. It is attached to the same field that the universe uses to create forests and galaxies, everything in the material world.

Just like every light cast a shadow you will do things that you’re not proud of, you will do things that will require you to pay karmic debts. If you continue to run away from life lessons, especially the hard ones, you're never going to release the karma.
