Find a Mentor

Instead of directly approaching someone to be your mentor, which can be intrusive, try the organic approach in your normal conversations, so that a helpful senior can volunteer to be your mentor in a particular area of expertise.

Find a person that provides useful insight into life. 

The things that person shares should be of value to your life; the mistakes your mentors made, the good decisions they made. 

Everything this mentor share IS a learning lesson.

A mentor is someone who is on the same career path as you, but further along.

They guide you through things like how to avoid potential pitfalls, and how you might approach the next steps of your career.
