Trial a week or so without social media and see how you feel. You’ll be surprised how much you don’t miss it!
This could involve grabbing coffee with a colleague (or FaceTiming over a cup of coffee if you’re working virtually), having lunch with your partner and kids if they’re around, or calling a friend or family member you want to catch up with.
Pick a short interval (10 minutes, 15, 20, or 25) and practice focusing on one task during that session, until the timer goes off.
Then take a break, and try another focus session.
