When you feel discomfort, the first thing you should do is ask yourself why you are feeling that discomfort. Where does it come from? Is it guilt, something you did in the near or distant past? Is it fear of what could happen in the future? Is it the discomfort of having to do something but not being able to do it now? What is it?
To understand that, you don't have to write down what you have been doing or avoiding until now. You don't have to meditate or even talk to yourself in the mirror for 10 minutes. You just have to calm down, take a deep breath, and focus on what is going on in your mind. It doesn't even take 10 seconds.
