<ul><li>După terminarea unei experiențe dureroase se eliberează dopamină într-un interval de cateva ore (ex: baie în cada cu gheata, dus rece)</li></ul>    - cantitatea de dopamina eliberată va fi pe măsura dureri, atât timp cât continui procesul spre atingerea obiectivului.    - cu cât reziști mai mult durerii, cu atât plăcerea va fi mai mare.

Surse de dopamină (II)

<ul><li>Să îți iei plăcerea din a-ți dori ceva, din ce faci pe parcurs (anticipare)</li></ul>   - Ia o mică pauză între finalizarea unui obiectiv și începerea altuia pentru a echilibra balanța durere-plăcere.   - după atingerea obiectivului, va exista mereu o scădere în dopamină.   - creează pași de atingere ai obiectivului.   - celebrarea finalizarii obiectivului nu trebuie sa fie la fel de energica ca parcursul, ci mai mult reflectiva (gratitudine).

Surse de dopamină (I)

<ul><li>Plăcerea obținută fără parcurgerea unui drum pentru a o obține reduce motivația.</li></ul>     - trebuie să îți creezi propriile obstacole când vine vorba de plăceri imediate (ex: mâncare, social media).      - o viață împlinită înseamnă plăcere obținută prin munca depusă.     - poate duce la suprasaturarea circuitelor de dopamină și deci la lipsa motivației (trecere în partea durerii).<ul><li>Frecvența cu care clipim este strâns legată de nivelul de dopamină din creier.</li><li>În timpul depresiei nivelul de dopamină este foarte scăzut, de aici și concentrarea către trecut.</li></ul>

Surse de dopamină (III)

<ul><li>Meditația poate ajuta la a percepe timpul mult mai intuitiv, la a observa creșterile de dopamină cauzate atât de ceva extern cât și intern.</li><li>Când cantitatea de dopamină este scăzută oamenii tind să supraestimeze timpul, iar când e foarte ridicată tind să subestimeze durata de trecere a timpului, de efectuare a unei sarcini, etc.</li></ul>Dopamina se află în strânsă legătură cu percepția asupra trecerii timpului.

<ul><li>Restricțiile sunt necesare atunci când vine vorba de comportamente compulsive cu rol de a obține ușor dopamină (ex.: nu folosi o oră după ce te trezești telefonul)</li></ul>    - Poți pierde informații prețioase obținute după procesarea din timpul nopții dacă treci printr-o experiență care îți solicită mult simțurile (ex.: statul pe telefon dimineața).    - Maximul de stare alertă se atinge cu 90 de min înainte de ora obișnuită de culcare.
