The goals should be specific and achievable, but most of all, it should be something you really care about. If you want to learn how to play the guitar, but you don't really care about it and you just wanna do it because playing guitar is cool, not only it will be harder to achieve the goal itself, but you'll also be less motivated to complete the tasks that you set to reach it.
