Scrolling is detrimental to one's health. They greatly decrease your attention span on constant exposure. They make you more antsy and make your mind hungry for more of the same.
The main problem is that we usually end up searching something actually productive and see something interesting and simply go down the rabbit-hole of scrolling.
A majority of the times, we're watching things that aren't even relevant for our age or just in general, irrelevant. They are a major time-killer.
