Forget Traditional Methods

Analytic learners like facts and like learning things in sequential steps.

Many of their preferred methods are used in traditional teaching. Teachers generally give tests that favour analytic learners, such as true and false or multiple choice exams.

Most leaders have familiar approaches to managing time: setting goals, planning, delegating, tracking commitments, and creating to-do lists. While these approaches do help in self-organization, they are not adequate in helping achieve high levels of sustainable, long-term performance.

Our gut instinct or intuition can come in many forms, like detecting patterns in places where other people only see randomness or having a sudden flash of brilliance which goes against the grain but feels right.
