Giving is coming with sacrifice

Imagine some parents who see their child graduating from high school or college, or marrying a godly life partner, or they see their child doing something that fills their eyes with tears of joy. 

If you were to tell to those parents, "Hey, think of all the sleepless nights because of that baby, all the dirty diapers, the tens of thousands of dollars that that baby cost you and which you could've spend on the things you want, at all the time that your child took you, during which you could do what you wanted", they would answer you: "He deserved every so-called sacrifice, because what I received in return was worth every effort."
