The goal of feedback is to elicit a behavior change. So it’s not over until you agree on what they’ll do differently next time.Not suggesting a solution can be a good course of action to avoid a repeat of the issue. It’s their issue and they'll be more committed to a solution if it is theirs.

Don’t Take Ownership

"The trouble with most of us, said Norman Vincent Peale, "is that we would rather be ruined by praise than saved by criticism." Yet while a certain percentage of the population is happy to reinforce the walls of their own echo chambers, Peale's statement is a discredit to the vast majority of people.
