The problem itself is the concept of “life purpose”; the idea that we were each born for some higher purpose and its our mission to find it. Here’s de truth; we exist on this earth for some undetermined period of time. During that period of time we do things. Some of these things are important. Some of them are not. And those important things give our lifes meaning and happiness. The unimportant ones basically just kill time.So, when people say “What should i do with my life?” or “What’s my life purpose?”, what they’re actually asking is: what can i do with my time that is important?

People with this mindset tend to think of themselves as an entrant, someone that doesn’t know more than the basics of a topic, and therefore, they need to keep learning, keep asking questions and active their curiosity.If we adopt this mindset, we will be exposed to more information (as we always have unsolved questions) and we will be exposed to different ways of thinking, which makes us more tolerant, open minded people. It’s also demonstrated that people that think this way learn way faster and more amount of information than average.
