PAST is something that we have gone through in our lives. It is not necessary to forget the past because it is a part of our lives. Who we are today is a direct consequence of the actions we took in our past.

Never Try It

Yes I know. Most of our past hurts us. That's the nature of us. That's why most of us are trying to kick our past away from our brains. That's absurd. If it is possible to be done, you would miss the whole memory of you industrial experience too.When you force yourself to forget something, you make it to engrave more into your memories.

But It Hurts A Lot

Instead of forcing yourself to forget the past. Try to understand the nature of it. Try to realize the cause and the consequences of it. Thus the past which gave you tears will turn into a valley of blessings.As an example...You might turn back into your college life and sigh by remembering how you used to be happy with your friends. That past now give you a river of tears.But do you remember how you felt when the semester exams were hitting you hard? "I'll be happy when I become independent and a star in my industry"So, were you happy all the time back in college?

What Should Be Done?

It's not the past which makes you sad. It is the attitude you have in the present which makes you sad.Think... what if you were suffering utterly with poverty back in you childhood and now you are rich enough to drive two three cars. Now you fell happy about your present right? If that past can make you happy now, how can you tell that it is the past which makes you unhappy?It is the craving which lies within you.

It Lies With In You Right Now.

Suppose you have a Benz and you ride it on the ways amid the gazes of many people. You feel proud and happy. But you love a Ferrari more than your Benz and you see the exact car parked in the mall's car park. What would you feel?You feel sorrow. You wish if you have it. But remember the thousands of people who gazed at your car. They wished the same about your car. They too felt sorrow.Now suppose you don't like cars. You don't feel any passion about any type of a car. Then you see a Ferrari oneday which is parked in the mall's car park.Now would you feel sorrow? NO

Bonds Of Sorrow

Can you exhume the underlying common problem in all those sorrows? You have a craving about something. That craving gives you tears when you don't meet your standards and expectations about it. It is the same reason which pulls people into depression.Thus, try to realize the nature of cravings. Nothing is permenant. Even the sadness and even the happiness. You have to give up all your cravings with your death however. And if you are holding all those cravings, that would be a sorrow again.Remember... It's not yhe PAST. It's you. Try to be happy. Be mindful about the cravings.
