A habit is a "settled or regular tendency or practice, especially one that is hard to give up."Simply put, a habit is something done consistently.

What Is It

I've found that "good" and "bad" are subjective terms. So I will will not be referring to the types of habits as "good" or "bad." Instead, they will be:<ul><li>Constructive </li><li>Destructive </li></ul>

Types

Habits where the pros outweigh the cons.(Just like good and bad, the pros and cons of something are subjective. But I think they have less moral weight behind them.)Exercise is a great example of a constructive habit. You get tired and sore, but over time you become stronger, have more energy, and are overall happier.I call them constructive because you are building a better life with them.

Constructive Habits

Habits where the cons outweigh the pros.Smoking is a good example of this. While nicotine does calm you down, long term use results in major lung and health problems.I call them destructive because you are worsening what you currently have.

Destructive Habits

Doing something everyday for 30 days makes it a habit.Obviously it doesn't need to be that exact formula, but it is the most effective.In the same sense, not doing something for 30 days will break the habit. Not necessarily the urge, but the habit.Keep in mind that progress is not linear. There will be days that you fail. Do not use this as an excuse to not form or break your habit, but as a reason to be patient with yourself.

Consistency Is Key

Make a list of things you want to do but are not doing.Some habits need to be gradually built up to, and some can be started immediately.Gradual habits include:<ul><li>Exercise</li><li>Reading</li><li>Writing</li></ul>Anything that requires stamina to be built up is gradual. Immediate habits include:<ul><li>Hygiene</li><li>Tidying Up</li><li>Tracking Expenses</li></ul>Anything small enough to not require much energy, mental or physical, to do.

Starting Habits

Make a list of things you are doing that you don't want to do.Much like the previous slide, habits can be destroyed gradually or immediately.Gradual habits include:<ul><li>Addictions</li><li>Harmful Thoughts</li><li>Poor Sleep Hygiene</li></ul>Anything that requires consistency over a long period of time is gradual.Immediate habits include:<ul><li>App Usage</li><li>Online Purchases</li><li>Not Getting Enough Fresh Air</li></ul>Anything that can be immediately and easily changed is considered immediate.

Charisma is defined as "compelling attractiveness or charm that can inspire devotion in others."But if something can inspire devotion, that doesn't mean it will.So charisma is "compelling attractiveness or charm."Charisma is the ability to make people happy, based on your appearance and/or conduct.

What Is It?

Uncharismatic is defined as "lacking the charm and attractiveness that can inspire enthusiasm in others."Simplified, it is "lacking charm and attractiveness."

What Is It Not

Charm is "the power or quality of giving delight or arousing admiration."Simplified, "the ability to make people happy or approve of you."Every single person has the ability to make others happy. Every single person has charm, and therefore charisma.Like with every other aspect of life, people have varying levels of charisma.

Who Has It - Charm

Attractiveness is "the possession of qualities or features that arouse interest."Those who are commonly thought of as attractive are the rich, the good-looking, and the famous. They posses attractive qualities. Wealth, looks, fame. The most attractive traits are good hygiene and confidence. All traits can be cultivated and built up on.

Who Has It - Attractiveness 

You'd probably be more effortlessly charismatic around your friends than you would be around the President of Mexico.You know how to make your friends happy. They already find you and your company enjoyable. You don't know the President. You don't know how to make them happy. To the President, you are no more or less enjoyable than any other face in the crowd.Charisma depends on the person and situation. If you feel like you're not being charismatic, you simply haven't figured out how to make the people around you happy in an effective way.

How It Works

People tend to disagree on the types of charisma that exist. I've found there to be 3.<ul><li>Competent</li><li>Relatable</li><li>Enticing</li></ul>

Those who know what they're doing. Someone who is good at their job or has knowledge on a topic you find interesting or important.Build competence by familiarizing yourself with things related to your job and community. Practice reading comprehension and pick up a philosophy book.The easiest way to appear competent is to listen more than you talk.

Competent

Those who are similar to others. Someone you can find common ground with.We both wear glasses, we both work in retail, we both like coffee. There isn't a single person alive or dead who has absolutely nothing in common with you. At the very least, you both have flesh and bone. Pay more attention to those in your life. What do you have in common with the bus driver? Your mother? What makes the strangers around you less strange?

Relatable 

Those who have things others desire. Someone who represents or offers a more interesting life.The enticing type is the one we initially think of when we think of charisma. The wealthy, good-looking, and famous are examples of this. They live the lives we want. They have the things we want. They are the people we want to be.Figure out what you want in life, and then the steps to get it. When you have the life you want, others will see that and want it as well.
