Thoughts can come along with a variety of emotions over which we have the least control. But, conveying our thoughts becomes an action that could be performed after making deliberate decisions. No matter how wild, deep or strong our emotions are, it is in our conscious duty to plainly convey our thoughts without additional or dramatic abuses or comparisons.

Words are free. It's how you use them that may cost you.

Actions speak louder than words but when putting words together and speaking up itself is an action, your words take all the shapes and forms from the way you convey them. If you feel that your thoughts hold value, it’s more important to preserve their value by focusing on how you deliver it.

Acting on thoughts

“What you speak will be valued based on how you speak.”

Words might be hurtful, although, whether it’s hurtful or not, depends on the perception of the person in front of you. But, what’s in your hand, is to keep your words respectful. Your thoughts, when conveyed using words, need not be buttered up. Similarly, they need not demean anybody. Plain and clear is the best way to go📶

Most of the times in life, we’ll be confused about whether our action is right or wrong. When we are in confusion, there is a higher possibility of taking the wrong path. But wait, how do we decide if something is wrong- isn’t this the basis of our confusion?

To be confused

No action is right or wrong in itself. The key here is the thought behind the action. Yes, you’re right, it could also be called the ‘intention’. So, remember, if the ‘why’ (the reason for your action) is clear, the ‘what’ (the action itself) can be categorised into right or wrong.

Know your “Why”

Genuinely assessing your intentions is also important. Don’t stick to an idea and claim it to be right. Instead, step back, be true to yourself and don’t convince yourself that a thought is right if the first thing that strikes your mind is the fact that it is wrong. We also call it to be a hunch or a gut feeling.

Need for an honest assessment 

At the end of the day, if your intentions are not right, your actions tend to back-fire and you might have to suffer for what you did.
