Man letting go is hard guys. Like no one even explains how hard it is. They also forget to tell us it’s necessary. Nothing in life is worth holding on tight when it’s time to let go. Let things pass with the seasons. Emotions. People. Thoughts. As quickly as they come let them go. When you truly find something or someone worth holding on to you won’t ever feel stressed to let go. Why we hold on so tight

Today I realized how important parenting yourself is. Most people have a parental figure in their life. We all grow up and that fact may change for everyone. You become your own parent in a sense. You must learn to be patient with yourself. You also learn when, how, and why you need to set discipline for yourself. Just like working out you must strive everyday to be better. This can be applied for all instances of life. We all have unique ways of learning and behaving. Connection to self is the most important thing when learning to apply these skills.

While walking in the forest today I realized why people like to give advice. It’s easy to give it to others rather than yourself. When we don’t trust our own judgement and rather trust others we lose our sense of self. Trusting yourself is hard. However it’s necessary reaching your goals. When you listen to your own thoughts and feelings you get closer to yourself. You learn things about how you operate. These tools are what make us successful adults. Be alone with yourself. Be your biggest supporter. Support your own dreams so you can support the people you love. food for thought
