Tasks . Schedules . Reminders These will definitely make you productive. But they are quite rigid. Sometimes you just don't wanna follow them. And that's why your day might need fluidity!

Rigid Productivity

After following the rigid productive methods for a long time , a person gains confidence in their routine.With this confidence you can make productivity fluid.Here's how you do it-<ol><li>Focus hours:Choose the most productive hours of your day. Each day you will work with focus in these hours. These hours are fixed in your routines </li><li>Long term goals:Next choose the long term goals you are working towards. Maybe you want to meditate or draw. These activity can occur at any time of the day other than the focus hours.</li></ol>

Fluid Productivity

<ul><li>Focus hours: 5am-7am , 5pm-7pm (These hours will remain the same everyday)</li><li>Long Term Goals: Yoga for half hour, writing for half hour. (These activities can occur at any time other than focus hours. You might do writing in the evening one day or in the morning the other day.)</li><li>Finally the rest free time can be used for self care like hygene, or maybe playing games or watching YouTube.</li></ul>

An Example Of Fluid Productivity

This will give you a freedom of choosing your sleep time everyday, it will let you adapt your schedule if any random work pops up.On the other hand, if you have not devoloped self control then it might not be too advantageous to you.Conclusion:If you have confidence in your self-control but do want to provide yourself some freedom of what you do on a daily basis , then try this system.

<ul><li>You might have ten tasks every day out of which you do 5.</li><li>Ask yourself, are those five tasks my priority? Probably not.</li><li>Run away from your priority and you won't feel productive. But if you do those five important tasks then tommorow you will think " I'm glad I got that finished up!"</li><li>"If something has to get done, then it will get done. What I want doesn't affect that decision." Sometimes this mentality is all you need.</li></ul>

Maybe you are planning too much. Using too many apps to stay productive or inputing each and every part of your day on your calendar, this can be stressful.

Feel Unorganised?

<ul><li>A routine is the structure of your life. Find hours you are comfortable with and work in them and leave time for fun.</li><li>Once you recognise the hours you are comfortable with make sure all the work you do is restricted to them. Work is the the only thing you can do in that part of your day.</li></ul>

Develop A Routine

Doing too many tasks on one day might feel like trying to swim up a waterfall. Try to keep your major tasks to three per day. Further divide those three tasks into subtasks and that will be a healthy amount of work to do.

<ul><li>Note making takes up a lot of time.</li><li>It is a passive way of revising as your brain does not put much effort in.</li><li>It makes you feel productive when it helps very little.</li></ul>

Notes Might Be A Waste Of Time

<ul><li>Making your brain more Active.</li><li>Time spent on making notes can be used for making questions. After going through your topic of study answer those questions.</li><li>The harder your brain works the more it remembers.</li><li>This method can be faster and Much More Effective than note making or highlighting.</li></ul>

Study Less But Better With Active Recall

<ol><li>Read the study topic while making questions</li><li>Answer the questions on the day of reading the topic</li><li>Answer the question 3 days later</li><li>Answer them 1 week later</li><li>Answer them 1 month later</li></ol>
