Infatuation vs love

Attraction is based on our values, the criteria that we have set for certain someone who will qualify to date us. We desperately seek that for immediate comfort we need, a sort of validation we seek from the society around us. It's scale that dooms us into failed after failed relationships and meaningless crushes and dreams. We are not interested in their talks, in their interests but in fitting them even by mental force in to that list of values. We are looking for a trophy to show others, which represent the values we live by or at least try to incorporate in us..

But as the time passes we are acquainted with the harsh reality that finding a person that fits even half of that list is difficult. Jealousy is the emotion that comes free with this kind of search, we want to compromise their independence in return for our peace from feeling insecure or at worse jealous.
