The world is indeed a theatre of experience and we find ourselves on its stage in order to learn lessons that can only be taught in a physical realm. Four billion years of evolution on earth have led us to a point where we can make very fine distinctions between good and evil, darkness and light, love and fear, where we can make conscious choices that will impact us and others in profound ways.

Modern 'technological' society can only be described as a counter embodiment, since it feeds on our attention and strives off our dependency. It appears to have been engineered to switch people off to the wider mystery of being alive, to bombard our consciousness with sterile, soulless messages of production and consumption, of envy and greed, that never get to the fundamentals of anything.

It also attempts to convince us that we are just a well structured meat sack, or a well executed accident of physics and chemistry. It also directs our purpose towards production and consumption as efficiently as possible.. And .. the general existential philosophy relays the message that when we are dead we go on to a non-physical space where all our wishes or fears come true and play on repeat forever and ever, and that our only legacy is passed on through our genetic information and what we leave behind in material accumulation.

I think we are a part of a very long, very infinite, very entangled journey, and that we manifest in human form many times upon this earth and in parallals. Reincarnation makes perfect sense to me precisely because I dont see consciousness as an epiphenomenon of brain activity, but as the true source of all created things.
