Dari Abu Hurairah radhiyallahu ‘anhu berkata, “Kekasihku—Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam —mewasiatkan kepadaku untuk puasa tiga hari setiap bulan, mengerjakan shalat Dhuha dua rakaat, dan melakukan shalat witir sebelum tidur.” (Muttafaqun ‘alaih ) [HR. Bukhari, no. 1178 dan Muslim, no. 721]
