The Parkinson's Law
This law says that the duration taken to complete a task and its complexity depends on the time we set aside for thinking of a solution for the task. For example, we think we would find solution for a task within a week, the task gets more complex and more duration is taken to complete the task.

Reducing The Deadlines
So to find a solution quicker, set limited time to think of the solution for the task. For instance, instead of spending a whole week on finding solution, just spend a day or a few hours on coming up with the solution. This increases the focus put on finding the solution and give better results
