Our children's future.

Our children's future.

Given the world we live in, and knowing that our children won't have only good experiences during their lives, we have to do everything we can to make it as pleasant as possible. Parents have a part to play in this, and while we can't rule out the worst, we can at least minimize the risks.

Should We Stop Having Children To Save The Planet?

Should We Stop Having Children To Save The Planet?

This question, often linked to anti-natalist thinking, could be an effective solution for reducing our greenhouse gas emissions. Fewer children = fewer greenhouse gases. But is it really? CURATOR'S NOTE

Do you have children? And if so, aren't you ashamed? Or rather, do you think you made a moral error in giving them life? Or conversely, do you think your parents made a moral error in giving you life? A strange question, isn't it? Most people, including myself, would answer no to this question without too much hesitation, but philosopher David Benatar begs to differ.
