COMPARISON FALLACY

COMPARISON FALLACY

STOP! COMPARING…

There is much of unhealthy illusions in this short span of life.

In our society, it’s easy to compare our situation to other’s. Status seeking makes us spend our limited time and energy to tackle our relatives and neighbour’s status for equal standing with them, which results aren’t favourable to our pocket.

We keep on wasting our time in focusing other’s accomplishment instead of using that time to do the next step to achieve our goals. We feel sad for other’s accomplishment instead of happy for their achievements because of the fear of value diminishes in some way. It doesn’t.

“The COMPARISION FALLACY is a simple idea: Other people are not you, and you are not other people. You have unique skill, goals, and priorities. In the end, comparing yourself to other people is silly, and there’s little to be gained by it.”

Focus on moving changes that are within your locus of control, so you can start moving in the direction you desire. Remember the comparision fallacy, and keep moving closer to what you want.
