Imagine your next boss doesn't have to read your resume, because he was already reading your blogs. Imagine you get your internship based on the School/College Project which you have posted online. Imagine your side project or hobby becoming your mainstream just because it got traction from the internet community and has been a potential to lead your life. This all could happen if you started showing work.

Although I am not the author of the book "Show your work". I am actually one of the passionate person who started to read the book "Show your work" by Austin Klein. I have started this article by the inspiration given to me by this book. This is my early days in digital content creation. I am hereby sharing the most striking things in the book. Thereby other readers could benefit from this as they would be able to get the most important points in this book in less time. Also this article is a proof that I am actually reading this book and thereby showing what I am working on. How cool is this.

**Steve Jobs** mentioned thinking that life is going to end soon is the one which clarified what he should do in life and had taken him to the path which made many admire him. Likewise many other people's mentioned things like "Having back from the life threatening situations gave them feeling of every day is the extra day / extra chance to do want they wanted to do in Life". Try to think about the situation where if you are given only a fixed number of days to live what will you do and how would you spend your life. This could make you realise what you really want to do in life.

Showing process was not possible is old days. Only the end results speaks in Gallery or exhibition. But those are old days. Now it is possible to document your work. I could give you an example from my own experience, A youtuber named 'Dani' is a game developer who documents and post his work in funny ways. To be exact he actually won't show users the hefty coding work but he will show intermediate results which are funny. This audience growth helped his game to become one of the top game in Stream - a gaming service distribution platform. Many high end company games fall behind.

Start a work: Write your thoughts in a notebook or speak then into an audio recorder. Keep a scrapbook. Take lot of photographs of your work at different stages in your process. Shoot video of you working. This isn't about making art, it's about simply keeping track of what's going on around you.
Whether you share it or not, documenting and recording your prices as you go along had its own rewards. You'll start seeing the work you're doing more clearly and feel like you're making progress. And even you're ready to share, you'll have a surplus of material to choose from.
