Criticizing others is often like pointing out the dark spots on the full moon. The full moon is resplendent and radiates volumes of soothing moonlight. Yes, it has a few spots, but why focus on those when the moon is so brilliant and beautiful and beneficial? Everyone has faults, but more important, everyone has a beautiful soul. We have the power to choose whether to focus on people's virtues or their faults - to fill ourselves and them with positive or negative energy.
