Qualities of a Leader

Off late I've been reading this biography of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw where I got to know about a few charismatic traits in his character that made him a gem of a Leader.

1. Honesty

2. Mutual Respect

3. No ego

4. Firmness

A leader is not the one who only leads.. infact a Leader is the one whom everyone obeys without any doubt. Building this level of trust is hard, but Sam did it pretty well & the outcome was visible.
