Choose 1 (or more) things to set as your 'daily highlight', something that you have to do.
Although many people recommend having 1 thing as a highlight, I often find that I need to have a few (usually 3 or less).
Of course, the number of daily highlights will differ from each person. Set the number that you're sure that you can get done in a day. (Because if you set too many, and can't finish them, you'll feel worse off.)
