You Choose To Suffer

When I find my soulmate, I'll be happier. When I'll buy a Bugatti, I'll be happier. When I eat that piece of chocolate, I'll be happy. When I drink coffee, I'll be happy. This is what we keep saying to ourselves. But the thing is that Happiness lies inside, not outside. It is when you accept yourselves, you become happy. Happiness is not an external factor, it's internal.

Happiness Is Not What You Think It Is

Do opposite. Opposite you emotions. Opposite your actions. Everything.Every time you change your thought or action into its opposite, you’re removing control from your lower self and redelegating it to your higher self – that is, to your sovereign self.

Other Than Meditation

Cigarette isn't a healthy desire. You will get irritated without it. A cup of tea maybe a healthy desire. You won't get irritated without it. The thing is to develop healthy desires. Which can be toggled when needed. If you have an unhealthy desire like sleeping in the afternoon, and you have it bad, you can't live without it, then just drop it for a month. Go for a walk or read a book.

Healthy Desires

A king built a palace of mirrors and placed a rare rose in front of it whose image was reflects by hundreds of mirrors. The other day he released a pigeon in the palace. The pigeon, in a very powerful desire to attain the rose, kept finding it and kept hurting his beak into every mirror. He thought this one or that one would be real, but none happened to be. His beak was paining, tired by the mirages, he laid down in the courtyard where he noticed the actual rose. He found it when he stopped searching it at the outside.

You can only have strong ties with yourself when you have one within. Self-love. Have yoga (union) with yourself.

Relationship Starts Within.

Now get comfortable and close your eyes. Picture a tortoise withdrawing into its shell. Like that tortoise, you’re withdrawing your attention from everything around you and channeling your focus inward.  Imagine a light, warm and radiant, emanating from the center of your forehead. Take your time and visualize this comforting light in great detail. You should feel yourself growing more restful, relaxed, and self-accepting. Now you can turn your mind to your chosen thought.
