Because Masay was fluent in English, Nihongo,Ilocano & a bit of Tagalog, the Kempeitai/Jap.military police at San Narciso garrison made her their interpreter.She became the go-to person of the families of the imprisoned Filipinos.As someone trusted by the Kempeitai,she was able to find 1 compelling reason after another to prove the innocence of several prisoners.In the end,Masay saved hundreds from the brink of death
