It is easy to fool ourselves that what health problems happened to others, won't happen to you.
I'll let you in on a secret. Your goal post that you keep telling to yourself that you'll stop once you're there, pause and reflect - Do you notice it has creepily moved slowly?
Welcome to the moving goalpost problem. You are not playing the game you started to play anymore.
Some people enjoy being Curious. Some people love to travel. Some love to find comfort within their arms reach.
It's okay. You may enjoy a different thing. The world rewards outcomes that create value in the current social structure.
The stories that you read are full of survivorship bias.
You have may be some 2K-3K weeks before you die. Relax. Remember nothing matters. Remember nothing counts. Remember to not validate yourself on other's scale
Stop.Reflect often and ask yourself 'what counts for me'.
If you have to let something go and keep something, let your ambition go and keep your "flow state" with you.
For example, if your are an artist or someone who loves to cook, just help people by doing counselling or something else that wont make crazy money - but keeps you in state of flow and makes you think its 'meaning' of life, so be it.
They say-"Even in ur hardest times ,jus smile." This saying rooted from a lotta Struggle, Sadness and Experience.
When the sadness becomes persistent, when u can't control things, when everything turns out off ur way, when the world shows its back on u,then....only then u'll really understand it .
When u feel persistent pain and sadness , U start thinking that when will I find my happiness. And at certain point of time ,u get sick of ur sadness . That's when u feel that ur sadness doesn't matter anymore . And that's when you start smiling for no reason . So jus wait until u reach that phase 🤟
