A Warp Drive, simply defined, is a theoretical device that distorts the shape of the space-time continuum in order to propel itself and speeds faster than light. In a nutshell, the fabric of spacetime is bent to the point where it refracts objects at incredibly high speeds. Again, hard to conceptualize, but very cool indeed.
