AUTHENTICITY

We are told often that we should always try to be our most "authentic" selves. We also like trying new and authentic cuisines or even authentic staples in fashion, yet, we do not completely understand what "authentic" means in a world where change is inevitable.

The word is usually...

Find something you are good at doing, and do it. Finding a hobby in which you excel will help you because it relieves stress and builds confidence. You will then have an escape on those bad days when it feels like nothing is going your way.

To do what you love adds pressure because you first have to find what you like, know what you are good at and realise your strengths. Then you have to work hard at it, continually living with the self-doubt of 'am I good enough?'.
