Early humans always had to stay aware of their surroundings for potential danger (like a tiger lurking around). So our brains have evolved to always have their attention scattered to be aware of their surroundings, hence making it hard for us to focus on one single task. So don't go too hard on yourself and try to improve your focus progreseively.
