Mistakes are to be learned from. Sometimes big mistakes become a fixation in our heads. They grow into this ugly thing that rears its head every time something feels like it is going well in our lives. "Oh I am still an over promisor", "Oh that bill I did not pay is back to haunt me". etc. etc.
