Ongoing Stack Rank (OSR)

An OSR is a simplified list of things you are working on or could be working on over a given period. An OSR helps to find a global view of personal priorities and the ongoing status of each.

There are three vital features of a good OSR:

  • Show outputs only. Outputs are defined as shippable units work that you can check off once completed.
  • Include workstream status. Use a full spectrum of options: scoping  in-progress  ready to go  shipped  deprioritised.
  • Order by priority and impact and success measurement criteria for each input.
