To be honest, by the title of the book, I thought it's a story of Buddha but as it is already said , never judge a book by it's cover, I got to know it's a story of a brahmin boy, Siddhartha, who sets off on a pilgrimage to reach enlightenment. He experiences life as a pious brahmin, a Samana, a rich merchant, a lover and an ordinary ferryman to a father.
