Sprays work, but be aware:

• You have to make sure you apply enough. Spray until there's a visible sheen, and then you're supposed to rub it in.
• You probably don’t want to breathe it in or get it in your eyes.
• Do not ever spray them near a fire.

A developed campground is best for beginner campers as they have dedicated campsites to park a car or RV, potable water and restroom facilities. They also have picnic tables and fire rings.

Use the internet to find campgrounds in the desired area of travel, such as national park campgrounds...

• Use a gym partner to create accountability and make sure you exercise.
• Lay out your workout clothes the night before and put them in a visible place.
