The most important thing is to never lose your audience. By structuring your content, it is easier for your audience to follow you and you also know when to stop talking so that you don't repeat yourself.Examples on how your content can be structured:<ul><li>Information, emotion, action.</li><li>Comparison, construct, conclusion.</li><li>Problem/opportunity, solution, benefit.</li><li>What, so what, now what.</li></ul>

Message Structure

You should make your content relevant to your audience:<ul><li>What do they know? Meet them where they are at.</li><li>What do they expect from you?</li><li>What is their attitude towards your topic?</li><li>Engage them physically and mentally.</li><li>Use analogies and give examples.</li></ul>

Relevance

<ul><li>Show that you are passionate about the topic.</li><li>Be excited.</li></ul>

Leverage Emotion

<ul><li>Record yourself to hear what you sound like.</li><li>Exaggerate when practicing as you will then speak normal when giving your presentation.</li><li>Speaking louder increases the attention of your audience.</li><li>Use data, stories, visuals etc. as there are different types of learners in your audience.</li></ul>

Variety In Voice

You can only get better through:<ul><li>Repetition: Give yourself opportunities to speak.</li><li>Reflection: Think about what worked in your communication and what didn't.</li><li>Feedback: Ask others to give you honest feedback.</li></ul>

How To Get Better

To remember your own presentation you should:<ul><li>Practice presentation hygiene.</li><li>Structure your message.</li><li>Practice often.</li></ul>

How To Remember Your Own Presentation

This refers to what you do to prepare your communication.<ul><li>Eat well: For example, caffeine is good when preparing for a presentation but not right before your presentation.</li><li>Exercise, breathe deeply and sleep good.</li><li>Use leverage tools such as LikeSo, Ummo, MyVoiceVibes, Orai or Virtual Speech.</li></ul>

Presentation Hygiene

Spend the same amount of time practicing as you spend preparing your presentation.<ul><li>Stand up: This helps you focus and makes your voice clearer.</li><li>Warm up: Speak tongue twisters.</li><li>Practice in a real environment and a similar situation: Practice in front of your family and friends.</li></ul>
