When you use “No worries” or “No problem” the phrase can actually have the opposite effect: just saying the word “problem” introduces the possibility that the situation wasn’t great.

Instead of “No problem/No worries,” try “I’d be pleased to,”  “Of course...

  • Rather than saying "I can't" when you're declining a request, try "here's what I can do for you." This way you'll set a boundary about what you're not willing or able to do and indicating a willingness to find a solution.
