Are you a healthy coper? Taking a walk, working out, getting ready for the day etc. Or are you an unhealthy coper? Staying in bed, not handling your problems, isolating yourself etc. Those things will not help you gain your happiness any faster. Exercising and moving your body often will not only get your mind off of the issue, but keep you healthy.
