Looksmaxxing, and its variants Looksmaxx and Looksmaxxer, is a <a href="https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/internet-slang">slang</a> term based on the aesthetic concept of <a href="https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/lookism">Lookism</a> and the suffix <a href="https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/maxxing">-maxxing</a>, in accordance with maximizing one's physical appearance for real-world benefits. <ul><li>this word originated in the year 2015 mostly being used in online incel forums especially on 4chan and Reddit with the idea that, if a person looks more attractive they're able to improve their social status.</li><li>It exploded in popularity at the beginning of 2015 mostly being used in ironic ways with many memes around it being created in the process.</li></ul>

Noise of failure or mocking someone who's experienced something inconvenient. It is a sarcastic response to someone else's disappointment, complaints, or failure.
