The best thing you can do is to focus on your very next step, right now. Do something with your day. Forget about the rest.

Take a break

Think about your life. What is really important to you? How would you like to live your life?

Write down the things that are truly important to you, the things that ten years from now will make you proud.

Keep the list between 3 - 5 items.

Useful but expiring information

When you find information that is important to you, ask: "Will I still regard this information as important a year from now? Five? Ten?" E.g. quarterly earnings are useful, but no one cares about 2010 earnings because they ceased to be useful.
