Beginnings of The Chinese Empire

The last years of the Zhou dinasty, which lasted for 750 years, were marked by internal conflict between states, led by feudal lords. 

In 221 BC, Qin ruler conquered all the others and created the Chinesse Empire, which lasted until 1911. It is said Qin Shi Huang, the Qin ruler had used an army of 1M soldiers. 

The first Imperial dynasty was short lived, being followed by the Han dynasty in 202 BC.
