It's a truth that many of us are conditioned to live our lives reacting to everything and everyone around us. But, being proactive enables us to be more responsive than reactive to everyday vicissitudes.
A simple start may be to change our language from, "I can't" to "I choose not to". This makes us responsible and more in control of our problems than allowing them to influence our behaviour.
