For someone who has big goals, which I hope you do. It can be easy to experience self-doubt because the goals seem unattainable. However, your goals are not the problem, they are actually great. But when you seem to not be making progress, do not doubt yourself. Instead, be compassionate to yourself as you would others. We are only human and all make mistakes along the way.

Supportive people will always be there to lift your spirits when you are feeling low. They will remind you that you can do it and that they are backing you all the way.

5. Spend Time With Supportive People

No matter how small the achievement seems to others, if it is something you are proud of, make a note of it. These achievements remind us we can achieve things and get rid of self-doubt.

Remember, we are all at different stages in our journey. It takes time to get to where you want to be, so do not compare yourself and focus on your goals.

You may find that none of this helps. And that is okay. It is important that you are honest with yourself and do not be ashamed to seek help. Remember, self-doubt will hold you back more than the embarrassment you may feel for a moment. So, seek professional help and begin a gradual process back to confidence.

Keeping a journal is therapeutic and allows you to keep track of how you are feeling. It helps you get all your thinking out onto a page and gives you a release from self-doubt. The reason why is because as you read your problems, you may learn that they are not as big as you thought they were. This helps relieve self-doubt.

Remember that your friends and families support can only take you so far. You must begin to believe in yourself and your own abilities.Believe that you can achieve what you want and start tracking small wins to confirm your beliefs.

6. Find Validation From Within

We tend to be harsh on ourselves and less harsh on others. Remember this when you are evaluating your performance and doubting yourself. It will help you ease your mind and remind you that the things you are telling yourself are probably not true.

7. You Are the Harshest Critic

Negative thoughts pop into all of our minds. It is a natural thing for the brain to do as it is designed to protect us from risk. Always evaluate whether you actually believe those thoughts and start thinking about the positive outcomes.

4. Be Mindful of Your Thinking

By knowing your values and how you seek to live your life, the criticism of others does not matter as much. You know your course and know where you are going.
