Legitimacy
The three fundamentals of legitimacy in leadership:
The people who are asked to obey authority have to feel like they have a voice.
- The rules have to be predictable and stable. There has to be a reasonable expectation that the rules tomorrow are going to be roughly the same as the rules today.
- The leader has to be fair. One group cannot be treated differently from another.
