Scientists say your “mind” isn’t confined to your brain, or even your body

Fibonacci numbers explain how things expand and why they give rise to spirals. You can find Fibonacci numbers all over the natural world. The number of petals on a flower is a Fibonacci number. Cut open a fruit, and you'll find a star shape with a Fibonacci number of arms. A banana has a three-pointed star, and apple a five-pointed star. The cells on a pineapple have several Fibonacci numbers. If you take squares whose dimensions correspond to the Fibonacci numbers, then you can arrange them in an expanding rectangle.

1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21…Every number in the sequence is created by adding together the two previous numbers. The next Fibonacci number is 13 + 21 = 34. Hidden inside this sequence is the golden ratio. Many artists regard the golden circle as the perfect proportion for a canvas.

The Fibonacci sequence

The numbers are named after a 13th-century Italian mathematician known as Leonardo Bonacci. In 1853, historian Guillaume Libri started to refer to him as Fibonacci (son of Bonacci). In 1202, Fibonacci wrote about these numbers in Liber Abaci. The book was meant to support new ways of doing computation as Europe still used Roman numerals and the abacus to do calculations. He explained the power of the Hindu Arabic numerals, and how the Indians used the numbers 1 to 9 with a revolutionary new concept of 0 in a place number system.

Origin of Fibonacci numbers

The numbers were discovered by Indian poets and musicians who used them to understand rhythm in music and poetry. Modern musicians also used the Fibonacci numbers in their work. Debussy used them in his La Mer, Bartok in his Music For Strings, Percussion and Celesta. There's a new form of poetry named Fib, where each line has syllables corresponding to the Fibonacci sequence.

The Fibonacci sequence is used in art, composition, maths, nature, music, investing and more. 

Flowers, pinecones, shells, fruits, hurricanes and even spiral galaxies, all exhibit the Fibonacci sequence.

It projects that you are unsure of yourself.Indicating that there's more to the information: When the tone of voice is always going up at the end of the sentence, it proposes that there's more information you want to get across. It makes it sound like you're unsure of yourself.

The term is used in chemistry, biology, and agronomy. PH translates the values of the concentration of the hydrogen ion into numbers between 0 and 14. <ul><li>Pure water corresponds to a pH of 7, which is neutral (neither acidic nor alkaline). </li><li>A pH less than 7 is considered acidic.</li><li>A pH greater than 7 is considered basic or alkaline.</li></ul>

Ways to take a pH measurement

In agriculture, the pH of the soil shows what crops will grow easily in the soil and what adjustments are needed to adapt it for growing other crops. Acidic soils are often considered infertile as the solubility of aluminium and manganese also increase with acidity. However, conifers and members of the family Ericaceae, such as blueberries, prefer acidic soils. Acidic soil can be neutralized by treating it with lime.

Children are naturally inquisitive, but as they turn into adults, the frequency of asking questions slowly diminishes. They crystallize their understanding of the world and let things be as they are, not disturbing the status quo.
The lost art of asking good, challenging questions is essential in this world. Some questions are innocuous and simple, but there are other types of queries asked by curious minds which may not be appropriate to many people.

Asking fresh questions is essential to critical thinking, and for solving problems that appear unsolvable to rigid minds.
Thinking outside the box, a well-known cliché involves asking uncomfortable or unheard of questions that may sound ridiculous to some.

The Lost Art Of Critical Thinking

The world is full of mystery and wonder, but closed minds cannot fathom that their worldview and presumptions can be re-examined by inquisitive minds.
If they reflect upon the same, they might begin to realize that such inquiries are simply the product of fresh thinking and need to be seen with tolerance.

Tolerating inquiry is essential even if there are such things as questions no one should ask.

Why questions (good and bad) matter

Divide your paper into three sections: a 2.5” margin to the left, a 2” summary section on the bottom, and a main 6” section.
<ul>
<li>The main 6" section is used for note-taking during class.</li>
<li>The 2.5" margin to the left is the cues section. Use this space to write down ideas you'll need to remember. Add a prompt for each. Include vocabulary words and study questions here.</li>
<li>The 2" summary section at the bottom is where you'll highlight the main points.</li>
</ul>
The advantages of this method are notes that are neatly organized and summarized.

The Cornell Method

The page is organized by topic. While in class, start with the main topic. Branch off and write a heading for each of the subtopics. Add important notes underneath each subtopic. 
This method is useful for visual learners. It helps you understand the relationships between topics.

The Mapping Method

Use headings and bullet points with supporting facts.
<ul>
<li>During a lesson, begin your notes with a bullet point for the main topic. </li>
<li>The first subtopic is placed below and indented slightly to the right.</li>
<li>Jot down the details below your heading and slightly to the right.</li>
</ul>
This method is useful when a topic includes a lot of detail.

Divide the page into 3 columns and label each column by category. Fill the details of each category in the rows below.
This method is useful for lessons that cover a lot of facts or relationships between topics.

The Charting Method

This method involves jotting down important information on each topic. Each line on the page is a separate topic. Use headings for each main topic.

The Sentence Method

If your in-class notes are messy, unorganized, and unclear at first glance, you're not going to get much use out of them. This has nothing to do with how neat your handwriting is - it's all about how your notes are structured.
