take care of your environment. surround yourself with people who inspire you and push you to improve.focus on what you can control. avoid feeling bad about something you have no control over.don't criticize the people you want to become. try to learn from them instead.don't do things for money. this will only drain your energy and you will end up frustrated.

This is an extreme productivity strategy for starting a business or a project. It consists of doing a series of things during a certain number of days.Separate your activities into 2 types: mandatory and optional<ul><li>Mandatory. this includes no drink and cigarettes, exercise daily, turn off notification on your phone</li><li>Optional. you can add things here according to your objectives (examples: no coffe, meditate, delete social media from your phone)</li></ul>

P.A.R.A. STANDS FOR

Project is “a series of tasks linked to a goal, with a deadline.”Area of responsibility is “a sphere of activity with a standard to be maintained over time.”Resource is “a topic or theme of ongoing interest.”Archives include “inactive items from the other three categories.”

DEFINITION

A project has a goal to be achieved , this goal has a specific moment in time and a deadline or timeframeAn area of responsibility has a standard to be maintained, there is no end date or final outcome. Your performance in this area may wax and wane over time, but the standard continues indefinitely and requires a certain level of attention at all times. Projects always fall into Areas. A few examples:<ul><li>Running a marathon is a project, whereas Health is an area</li><li>Publishing a book is a project, whereas Writing is an area</li></ul>

PROJECTS VS. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Do you see the problem? Not a single item on this list is a project. Do “vacations” ever end? Is there ever a time when you can cross off “productivity” from your list once and for all? No — these are ongoing areas of responsibility, not projects.

You can’t truly know the extent of your commitmentsYou cannot know what to change until you know what you’re committed to. And what you’re committed to is not a collection of vague responsibilities, but a short list of tangible outcomes. In other words, projects.

You can’t connect your current efforts to your long-term goalsBy breaking these responsibilities into bite-sized projects (as in the list on the right), you ensure that your Project List will change nearly every week. This creates a rhythm and a momentum of project completion to maintain your motivation. Now imagine if you broke down this “events” area into each individual event that you planned and executed. And you’d have much more than a list — you’d have separate folders for each completed project, with tangible notes, assets, and learnings you’ve produced for each.

The PARA Method: A System for Organization 

In a perfect world we’d never overeat and our body would maintain a perfect weight throughout our life. We tend to think of metabolism as some kind of ‘place’ inside us which can then be dialed up or dialed down like a thermostat.Erroneous thinking:<ul><li>foods like chilly peppers and green tea will increase metabolism</li><li>alcohol or fruit juice will slow down metabolsm</li></ul> Metabolism or our basal or resting metabolic rate, is a chemical process that is itself made up of two different processes.

Summary

Anabolism. it is a process of synthesis.<ul><li>The body’s cells use the process of anabolism to create complex molecules from simple ones. </li><li>Anabolism takes a lot of energy to happen. That energy is supplied by its other half called Catabolism. </li></ul> Catabolism. it is the break down of large complex molecules in the body. <ul><li>Glycolysis. the process via which the body breaks down glucose and generates energy, and the hydrolysis of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) which powers the muscles are two perfect examples of catabolism.</li></ul>

Spices and chilli, as well as coffee, will temporarily boost our metabolism for a short period of time, almost insignificantly.

Myth #2: With age our metabolic rate slows down which is why we put on weight.

There are many genetic and lifestyle factors that affect how excess weight is added to the body. What we do know now, however, is that skinny people burn the same amount of energy per pound of weight as people who are overweight. So the difference in weight has to be attributed to other factors.

Myth #3: Skinny people have a higher metabolic rate which is why they don’t put weight on.
