In todays time , I think all of us would agree that that their biggest distractions are either mobile games , social media , or any other screen oriented activity. And this has become a major issue among teenagers. Some ways to overcome these are : -<ul><li>First , and foremost try to make as much distance as possible from these devices </li><li>Delete all the unecessary apps , that are not productive and waste your time </li><li>Use app timers and sleep time feature ( digital-wellbeing )</li></ul>These things will help you a lot !

Mobile And Social Media : The Majors

Many of us might be studying online during this time , and we tend to get distracted very easily during this. So we need to take care of this. Some tips to overcome these distractions are : -<ul><li>Use focus mode and app blockers for blocking distracting apps</li><li>Turn on DND mode during your session</li><li>Use pomodoro technique and timers</li></ul>

Distractions During Online Study 

Many a times , we don't need any distractions , we just space out and the dog chasing its tail outside would seem more interesting than the work you were doing. And your friends calling you to hang out would seem the most important people in your life . To overcome this you need to have a sheer willpower , no technique or trick can help you , you just have to prioritise your work over others.

Some Other Distractions Or Hurdles

<ul><li>Add exercising in your schedule</li><li>Prioritise the most important tasks before starting your day</li><li>Meditate and pray to god (it helps a lot , trust me )</li><li>Encourage yourself ( self-motivation)</li><li>Reward yourself for every important task you complete.</li></ul>

Overcoming Distractions

Dopamine or the feel-good hormone is the hormone responsible for the sense of pleasure and satisfaction we feel , it is released as a reward in our body after we do something we like .

Dopamine 

We tend to procrastinate when we feel that other activities like scrolling social media , playing games etc. are more rewarding as we feel good after we indulge in these activities.This is because of the dopamine released in our body.﻿

The Root Of Procrastination 

It is human nature to get attracted to easier tasks in which we don't have to put labour on our body . That is why our brain likes lying on couch and scrolling the mobile rather than sitting on the desk and revise our notes.

Why Does The Brain Support Us In These Activities 

In order to prevent this procrastination , initially you have to force yourself to do these tasks and then reward it by doing some recreational activities which can be singing , dancing or even going for a walk.But time these activities not more than 20 minutes. And perform this for some then you'll yourself feel the change .

Make The Brain Like Doing Tough Activities 

• Start waking up early • Add exercising to your schedule • Spend some of your spare time in planning thing • Make a daily planner and time things out
