Confidence is a broad topic. There are numerous tips, tricks, hacks about being confident or look confident. But being confident internally can help you the most in the long run.

How to be confident internally

Confidence isn’t saying, 'I know they will like me.' It's saying, 'I'll be fine even if they don't.

Be honest with yourself. Don't lie, try to evaluate your weakness and strengths. It can help you in the long run as you will know your weakness and try to work on that.

Honesty

Confidence isnt produced by sitting around and thinking that 'I can, nothing is impossible'. We need to actually Be and Do.

Work and invest on you

We all know that there is no growth in the comfort zone. So, if you are not okay with the possibility of failing, embarrassing yourself, you will never take new opportunities. And then there is no way for you to get better at anything. And if you are not getting better at anything, you are most likely not going to be confident in real sense.

Finding comfort in discomfort. 

Don't measure your confidence with external standards like your looks,clothes, etc. Real confidence always comes from inside.

Say 'No' To Comparisons With Others

Jealousy and insecurity from other people's progress is a great sign of lack of self confidence. So,next time don't forgate to congratulate others for their any kind of success.

Be Happy About Other's Success

There’s a thin line between confidence and arrogance. We need to know the differences and stop ourselves immediately if we're going towards the wrong side. Remember, no one likes arrogant persons regardless of their social status, popularity etc.

How I Became Confident (My Advice)

It simply means paying attention. If you're having a conversation with someone,pay full attention to that person.In this chaotic world, we get distracted easily. So, paying attention for longer period needs practice.

Being Present 

If you get stucked with your own ideas,perspectives or experiences and negatively judge others with different perspectives, you will miss the chance to gain something amazing. So, we shouldn’t immediately dismiss new ideas or experiences which are quite foreign to us. Now, this doesn’t mean that we have to become 'yes-man', who sympathises every single idea. Of course,we should have some strong values of our own.

Being open minded

General knowledge makes us better equipped when we're out there facing the world. They also help us professionally and socially. We should have knowledge out of our interest zone also.

Knowing stuff

It's ok to keep our opinions to ourselves but if we find ourselves rarely or never expressing our opinions on anything we might feel insecured.

Having opinion of your own

Finding a medium to tell stories regardless of whether you chose to share it or not,can make life more vivid. The way we tell stories to others matters too. It often translates to how we feel about the person.

Telling stories 

We often meet with persons who are not present in the moment, who's stories are not that much interesting, still we caught interest in them. And the reason behind this is, their authenticity. It's not about over sharing, rather it’s about not hiding, censoring or altering who we truly are.

Being authentic 

Almost everyone wants attention.So,everyone wants to become interesting. Let's have a quick look on how to make ourselves more interesting.

How to be a lot more interesting

Habits are things we do repeatedly.But most of the time we're hardly aware that we even have them.Depending on what they are, our habits will either make us or break us. Luckily,you are stronger than your habits.You can change them.

What Exactly Habits Are!

A paradigm is the way you see something; it's your point of view, frame of reference, or belief. Paradigms are like glasses. Sometimes our paradigms are way off the mark, and as a result, they can create limitations in our life.For instance: if you believe you're weak in maths, that very belief will make you really weak though you have potentials .

Paradigms

You can usually tell what your paradigm is by asking yourself a few questions like :<ul><li>What is the driving force of my life?</li><li>What do I spend my time thinking about ?</li><li>Who or what are my obsessions?</li></ul>Whatever's most important to you will become your paradigm, your glasses, or your lIfe center. And Principle-Centered life is The Real Thing. Like, honesty is a principle, hard work is a principle. A principle centered life is the most stable , unshakable foundation you can build upon.

Paradigms About Life

Just like a checking or savings account at a bank, you can make deposits into and take withdrawals from your PBA.PBA deposits :<ul><li>Keep promises to yourself </li><li>Do small acts of kindness</li><li>Be gentle with yourself</li><li>Magnify your talents</li></ul>On the contrary, PBA withdrawals can be like:<ul><li>Break personal promise</li><li>Keep to yourself</li><li>Beat yourself up</li><li>Bury your talents</li></ul>

The Personal Bank Account (PBA)

<ul><li>Proactive people use their power tools: self-awareness,conscience,imagination and willpower.</li><li>Proactive people make choices based on values. They think before they act.</li><li>They use 'Proactive language' like, instead of saying" I can't, they say, " there's gotta be a way."</li><li>Take responsibility for their choices.</li><li>Can brush things off without getting offended. </li><li>They take initiative to make it happen.</li></ul>

Habit:1 Be Proactive 

Think about the crossroads of your life.Think about friends, school/college,works etc.Then ask yourself: who's controlling these?If you don't control,someone else will control your life.So, at first set your missions or goals of life.Then try your best to achieve those. For this, you have to turn your weaknesses ito strengths.Thus you can make your life extraordinary.

Habit:2 Begin With The End In Mind

It's all about learning to prioritize and manage your time so that your first things come first,not last. Putting first things first can also help you learn to overcome your fears and be strong. For this:<ul><li>Get a planner and plan weekly.</li><li>Come out from your comfort zone.Remember, the risk of riskless living is the greatest risk of all.</li><li>Never let your fears make your decisions.</li><li>Be strong in hard moments. 'Cause winning means rising each time you fall.</li><li>Try to handle peer pressure.</li><li>Do the things which will lead you to your goals even it's disgusting, super-boring; such as , studying for test.</li></ul>

Habit:3  Put first things first

RBA represents the amount of trust and confidence you have in each of your relationships.Like the PBA (personal bank account) you can make deposits and improve the relationship or take withdrawals and weaken it.Some deposits are: keeping promises, Being loyal to everyone, saying you are sorry when needed. On the other hand, withdrawals are the opposites of these ; such as: breaking promises, gossiping about others, talking too much, being arrogant etc.

The Relationship Bank Account(RBA)

What do we live for, if it is not to make life less difficult for each other?

There are 4 types of attitude towards life:<ol><li>Win-Lose: Having this, a person tries to use others for own selfish perposes. He or she gets jealous of other's success.</li><li>Lose-Win: With this, one can be used by others. Thus, he or she can lose self-respect and confidence.</li><li>Lose-Lose: It says, "If I'm going down, then you are going down with me too.</li><li>Win-Win : It's a belief that everyone can win. You can achieve this by not comparing with others. Just enjoy differences and work together. Both of you can win.</li></ol>

Habit:4 Think Win-Win

People won't express their soft centers unless they feel genuine love and understanding.Once they feel it, they will tell you more than you may want to hear.So, when someone is speaking try to understand first.Don't pretend you are listening, don't judge the speaker from your self-centered view, don't try to advise without understanding everything first. Try to listen with genuine interest and care.

Habit:5 Seek first to understand, then to be understood

"Alone we can do so little,together we can do so much." -Helen KellerSynergy doesn’t just happen. It’s a process. You have to get there. And the foundation of getting there is this: Learn to celebrate differences.

Habit:6 Synergize

It means regularly renewing the four dimensions of your life- physical,mental,emotional and spiritual. You have to balance all these dimensions.For instance : doing exercise will benefit both your body and mind. Journaling, reading books, meditation or prayer can also heal you mentally and spiritually.

Habit:7 Sharpen the saw

"So be sure when you step with care and great tact and remember that life's a great balancing act.And will you succeed? Yes,you will,indeed! "
