<ul><li>Your resolution should be such that it doesn't demand drastic things .</li><li>Understand and imbibe in yourself the purpose of resolution.</li><li>And you should be able to divide and implement it into your routine.</li></ul> Eg. Suppose your resolution is to Gym daily.<ol><li>The purpose is to stay healthy or develop muscle.</li><li>Start with getting up daily and doing 10 push ups as soon as you leave bed (And increase it with time)</li><li>Soon you may realise the need of better machinery and may join gym on realisation of the need.</li></ol>

Tip 1 -Keep It Simple

<ul><li>New year is a year not a day. </li><li>The resolution should be planned accordingly.</li><li> Don't rush either its implementation or its results.</li></ul> Eg. Suppose the resolution is to not eat junk food.<ol><li>After following tip-1 , the gist is to eat health.</li><li>Rather than stopping the food you crave for ;set a time period for such embargo . Or first reduce it and slowly replace it with healthy food.</li><li>Try different things that work for you. Don't worry about small hiccups. </li><li>Remember it's a resolution for year, and till the time the year exists , the resolution too exists.</li></ol>

Tip 2- Be Patient 

<ul><li>If you haven't resolved anything right now , don't rush . There is no deadline.</li><li>Any day is as good for a resolution. 1st of Jan just gives the resolution a big stage.</li><li>For your resolution to succeed, plan and prepare for its success.</li><li>If possible develop schedule, time-table, goals and objective chart etc. </li><li>Plan your resolution like you Plan your wedding.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Many don't resolve because of the general air about the failure rate of resolutions .</li><li>Nothing will change if you don't take any action.</li><li>Resolve, fall and rise again.</li><li>It's a journey you must enjoy.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Keep making small change in your life. </li><li>But keep in mind that it's only for a small time.</li><li> This way not only you are you excited with the feeling of unknown but also are assured that you can always fall back.</li><li>Eg. Start with changing the brand of your coffee. Try the dangerous ones, even if you fail you have nothing to lose except a cup of coffee.</li></ul>(Also , once you are aware that the change is temporary, you will try you best to enjoy every moment of it.)

It can't differentiate between them. But the feelings do dull down with time.</li><li> To keep the mojo going, it's vital to add a little spice in your love life. NO NEED OF GRAND GESTURE, BUT SMALL UNEXPECTED ACTIONS ,can do magic. </li><li>Eg. Let the husband try hand at cooking or you can try role play for a day.</li></ul>

If you are a smoking addict then try with 60 puffs limit for a day.</li><li>Then next day include 60 puff + 1 minute of controlled breathing.</li><li>Day 3 - 59 puffs +1.5 Min controlled breathing +1 Apple</li><li>And so on</li></ul>

Most of our daily troubles and worries are due to our inability to be decisive at the right time. And slowly this nature seeps into every aspect of our life,making us dependent on others.

The Freedom Of Decisiveness

We are afraid of the consequences, even before deciding our action. Thereby handing over our destiny's remote in others hand.Fear led inaction leads to the fear of the " unknown" factors beyond our control.

Submission to the conditions. Giving the remote to others.

To overcome this<ul><li class="ql-align-justify">Just decide. Don't dwell much on the lack of information because ' there is never enough information for any action. And never enough dearth for any inaction'.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Prepare response for the consequences of your decision. This way you have reduced the unpredictability of the situation.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Also Deciding open up your system 2 to engage in things from a more rational perspective.</li></ul>

Take Back What's Yours 

Nothing is as wrong as inaction. By taking an action you have moved forward. What remains now is paving a path. It may have some hiccups,but as long as you are moving forward, you may fall but never fail.
